Building better Health - This component aims to improve the health of all residents and support healthy choices through access to quality care, physical activity, healthy eating, and preventing tobacco and other drug use. (Ex: providing an onsite gym to employees, initiating walking meetings)

Living Safely - Addresses both the community’s perception of overall safety in San Diego as well as the actual incidence of crime, injury and abuse. Efforts are engaged in Preparedness, Prevention, Protection, Accountability, and Rehabilitation. (Ex: Ex: Quarterly safety drills to ensure employees know emergency procedures)

Thriving - Focuses on cultivating opportunities for all people and communities to grow, connect, and enjoy the highest quality of life. (Ex: creating a program that addresses food insecurity in your local community or volunteering as a team in your local food pantry or shelter)
