Equity in advancement opportunities is key to an inclusive environment for all physicians at VCH. To address a historical underrepresentation in physician leadership, applicants who identify as a member of the 5 employment equity Designated Groups will be considered for this mentorship program.

Equity-deserving Groups includes the four groups designated by employment equity legislation – Women, Indigenous People, Racialized; Black and/or People of Color or Visible Minorities, and Persons with Disabilities – as well as a fifth category that VCH has chosen to designate as Sexual and Gender Diversity (2SLGBTQIA+ - Two-Spirit, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, asexual, and/or another sexual and gender identity)
