Scholarship for UVA-SCPS
Cloud Computing Certificate Students
Summer 2025
Expanding Virginia's Pipeline of Cloud Computing Professionals
Provided by funding through a Congressionally Directed Spending request by Virginia Senator Mark Warner and approved by the Senate Appropriations Committee, this scholarship is part of an initiative to increase Virginia’s cloud computing industry talent. As part of this initiative, SCPS has a limited number of scholarships remaining to award for the summer 2025 term. The scholarships will be awarded to qualified new students who are admitted and begin coursework in the Cloud Computing Certificate program at UVA’s School of Continuing and Professional Studies (SCPS) as of the summer 2025 term.
Scholarships for the summer 2025 term will range from $1,527 to $9,162 (the cost of one to six courses, based on 2024-25 tuition rates). Awards will be disbursed over multiple terms based on course enrollment, provided students continue to meet scholarship requirements and earn a grade of C or better for all completed Cloud courses.
