Feedback on Laboratory Data Exchange USCDI+ Use Case

The initial Laboratory Data Exchange use case is currently comprised of a core set of data elements leveraged by HHS during the COVID-19 pandemic to compare aggregate data on laboratory-confirmed cases across sources. Additional data elements have been incorporated to align with USCDI and other USCDI+ use cases.


We seek to broaden the laboratory data exchange use case to capture core data elements leveraged for electronic test ordering and reporting between healthcare providers and public health agencies. Given this, ONC seeks feedback on the following three questions:
