Please use this form to nominate graduate students for the Excellence in Graduate Research Award.
Nominations for the award may be submitted by faculty members, research advisors, or collaborators. (Self-nominations are not permitted).
The Excellence in Graduate Research Award recognizes a graduate student who has demonstrated outstanding achievement in research within the department. This award celebrates individuals who have made significant contributions to their field through innovative research, dedication to scholarly inquiry, and the advancement of knowledge.
AWARD CRITERIA
The recipient of the Excellence in Graduate Research Award will have demonstrated any of the following:
Research Excellence:
- Completion of high-quality computer science research project(s) that exhibit originality, rigor, and intellectual depth.
Impact and Contribution:
- Address timely challenges in computing.
- Contribution to collaborative research or mentoring of peers
Engagement:
- Presentation of research findings at high-visibility academic forums.
- Authorship or co-authorship of publications at premier venues.
