1. It is the responsibility of the Customer to transport the apparatus to and from the repair facility unless otherwise mutually agreed upon by GSEVS. If GSEVS has been contracted by the Customer to transport the vehicle it must be in safe operating condition.
2. Customer is hereby notified that the vehicle and any of its contents are not insured or protected to the amount of the actual cash value thereof, or otherwise, against loss occasioned by theft, fire, or vandalism while the property remains with the Dealership.
3. If the statement in item 2 above is not agreeable, then it shall be the responsibility of the Customer to remove all Fire Department owned loose equipment from the vehicle (including but not limited to radios and hose) prior to delivery to the repair facility. Customer states no articles of personal property have been left in the vehicle and Dealer is not responsible for inspection thereof.
4. It is the responsibility of the Customer to leave keys with GSEVS if the apparatus has locking doors on the cab and/or body.
5. The repair of this vehicle and completion date is subject to the availability of labor and parts. The Dealership is not responsible for the unavailability of parts or delays in parts shipment beyond the Dealership’s control.
6. Having an adequate amount of fuel to transport apparatus to and from the repair facility is the responsibility of the Customer.
7. Regarding air system “pressure leak” concerns, GSEVS does not make any warranty with respect to corrective repairs for air leaks whether expressed or implied.
8. I authorize the retrieval of on-board data as needed to facilitate vehicle repair, as well as sharing that data with the vehicle manufacturer for diagnostic and research purposes.
9. Due to the type of service requested some repairs may be sublet.
10. Only items documented through this service request will be accepted. Separate lists, verbal communications, emails, and any other form outside of this submission will not be accepted.
11. Costs associated with vehicle transportation including but not limited to towing, pick up, and drop services are not considered a warranty eligible item. These expenses if incurred, are billed back to the vehicle owner.
12.Warranty requests that are unable to be verified or no problem found may result in a charge back to the customer. OEM warranties do not cover inspections without an issue found.
