Art Department Scholarship Information

Students interested in an Art Department Scholarship must complete / submit the following:

PowerPoint Portfolio: including 10 images with the following criteria:

Two images, one each that demonstrates fundamental understanding of 2D and 3D design including focus on value, color, composition, and concerns for spatial elements.
Three images of completed painting or drawing work including observational studies.
Three images of completed 3D sculpted or built work based material and spatial awareness.
Two images, other than above, that demonstrate cohesive concepts outlined in your artist statement.

Artist Statement:

Provide a quick artist statement about your artwork. Let us know what you think your strengths and weaknesses are and in which areas you wish to improve.
