Membership in The Society of California Pioneers is open to all who are direct descendants of an individual who arrived in California prior to January 1, 1850. Please complete the form so that the Membership Services Coordinator can begin processing your request. She will contact you to complete an ancestor chart and a short application. Describe the materials you have that confirms your ancestor arrival date. Ideally, this will be primary source material, such as the individual's obituary, letters, overland company or ship manifesto, etc. If a member of your family is or has been a member of The Society of California Pioneers, please indicate that here.

Briefly describe how you are related to your pioneer ancestor. Membership is open to direct descendants of pioneers (i.e., great-great-grandchildren).
