Join us for a field trip and tour of a river restoration site on Saturday, June 8, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

The guided tour will leave from the end of Glendower Street in Ashland at 10:00. You'll take a short walk to a streamside revegetation project along Ashland Creek and around Ashland Pond.

You'll see native plants in action: reducing erosion, providing shade for fish, and creating a stronger, more resilient landscape.

Tour takes place rain or shine. Please wear closed-toe shoes.

This tour is offered by The Freshwater Trust, an environmental nonprofit working in local rivers and streams on behalf of the City of Ashland.
