2025 IRMI Snap Talk Proposal Form

Unlike traditional sessions that convey a lot of heavy technical information, Snap Talks are high-level, 15-minute talks on a very specific topic. You must complete the proposal form in one session, so make sure you have all of the following required information ready to enter. If you leave the platform and come back later you will have to start over. Incomplete proposals will not be considered for the program.


  • Proposed Snap Talk title
  • Short (about 50 words) summary of the main purpose of the snap talk and what attendees will take away from the talk.
  • 5 key attendee take-aways from the talk
  • Name, title, company, email address, and phone number of the proposed speaker
 

Snap Talks are designed to:

  • Share an idea, perspective, or innovation.
  • Create awareness.
  • Inspire a new way of thinking or doing.
 

Additional criteria for this format.

  • Snap Talks are a maximum of 15 minutes in length.
  • One speaker per Snap Talk.
  • Snap Talks are not PowerPoint focused. You may have up to 5 slides, but the slides should complement the presentation not BE the presentation and should not be packed with text. (An ideal use of slides is to illustrate a concept or transition between key points).

Speaker Terms

All invited speakers will be required to complete a Speaker Agreement, which includes the following terms:

  • Adhere to the 15 minute time limitation.
  • Avoid text-heavy slides and limit the number of slides to no more than 5.
  • Submit presentation on the IRMI-provided template by the agreed-upon deadline.
  • Avoid the use of copyrighted materials in my presentation, or provide IRMI with a copy of written permission to use the content.
