The undergraduate industry placement scholarship program aims to increase awareness and showcase the opportunities available within the poultry industry. Scholarships are available for undergraduate students based in Australia to engage directly with industry. The scholarships facilitate an industry placement directly on farm, with researcher or within a poultry business.

The undergraduate industry placement scholarship aims to highlight the job opportunities within the industry, introduce undergraduates to industry mentors and build relationships throughout the whole industry.

Poultry Hub Australia will be providing 4 individual scholarships for undergraduate students (preference will be given to final year students but open to all year levels) to be placed directly into the industry for a period of 2-4 weeks (this can be part of your degree work experience). Successful applicants will rotate through a number of roles to experience first-hand what it is like to work within the industry.

Successful applicants will receive $1500 scholarship and will be required to write a short report detailing their experiences and provide photos once completed.
