First Reconciliation and First Communion Registration

MEETING DATES:

• First Reconciliation Parent ONLY meeting will be held on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at 6:30 p.m. in the Parish Hall.

• First Communion Parent ONLY meeting will be held on Friday, January 31, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. and will include dinner in the Parish Hall. RSVP

Sign-up forthcoming.

• Tours of the Cathedral of the Most Blessed Sacrament will take place in the month of February. Sign-up for that will be forthcoming.

• First Communion Parent & Child Retreat will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2025. There will be two sessions, one at 9:30 a.m. and a second at

12:30 p.m. Sign-up forthcoming.

SACRAMENT CELEBRATION DATES:

• First Reconciliation will be celebrated on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. in the church.

• First Communion Students in Religious Education and in St. Hugo School Classroom A4 will receive the sacrament on Saturday, May 3, 2025,

at the 5:00 p.m. Mass.

• First Communion Students in St. Hugo School Classroom A1 & A2 will receive the sacrament on Sunday, May 4, 2025, at 2:00 p.m.

If your child was not baptized at St. Hugo, and if we do not already have a baptism certificate for your child on file in the Religious Education Office, please contact the parish of baptism by phone to request a copy of your child's baptism certificate to be sent to: St. Hugo of the Hills Religious Education Office, 2215 Opdyke Rd, Bloomfield Hills, MI 48304. We can be contacted at 248-642-6062 if you have any questions. Parents should keep original baptism certificates that were issued at the time of baptism.
