This Custom Session Request form is for DEPARTMENT USE ONLY., In general, we cannot accommodate student requests to offer classes during a custom session. Please contact the department hosting the class that you wish to take regarding your options. Student requests submitted using this form will be discarded.

This Custom Session Request form is for DEPARTMENT USE ONLY. If you are a student, please contact the department directly if you wish to inquire about options for a desired class. The Registrar's Office can not accommodate student requests for a session.


DEPARTMENT INSTRUCTIONS

Ideally, departments will utilize the pre-made sessions that are listed on the Academic Calendar: Session Deadlines page. Use this form to request a custom session when the existing sessions do not meet your needs. The Registrar will carefully review your request. Approval is not guaranteed.


Session Date Rules

  • The start date is always Monday.
  • The end date for Fall/Spring sessions is always Friday.
  • Session dates must occur within the Regular Academic session.

Fall/Spring end dates will always be Friday. The session dates do not include Final Exam week.

How many weeks of instruction in this session? Do not count Thanksgiving/Spring break weeks.

For example, the catalog number for MATH 171 is 171. The catalog number for BIOLOGY 106 is 106. We do not need class section number, class number, course ID.
