The adult (16+) mixed gender dispensation policy is a temporary policy that was first introduced in season 2014-15 and is specific to adult (16+) disability football competitions. The policy was introduced to ensure there are opportunities for females to play competitively when there are not enough female players for a single sex team or competition to be formed.
