Ensign Club Application
The purpose of Clubs at Ensign College is to provide opportunities for students with similar hobbies and cultural interests to gather, connect, share, teach, and strengthen one another spiritually, socially, and culturally as disciples-leaders.
Clubs provide students with opportunities to:
- Build connections and friendships through similar interests and hobbies.
- Develop new skills and interests.
- Apply principles learned in academic programs.
- Serve the campus and community by sharing their hobbies, talents, cultures, traditions, and interests.
- Develop and practice leadership.
Club Expectations
To be approved and in compliance, clubs must adhere to the following:
- May only be formed based on common culture and interests.
- May not be formed around or promote political agendas or engage in activism. If a club is found to be engaging in activism or promoting a political agenda, it will be dissolved.
- Must be inclusive and open to any student on campus
- Must align with and contribute to the mission of the college and the CES Honor Code
- Must have at least 2 officers with defined roles. (President, vice president) The club can appoint additional officers as desired. (ie. secretary, historian, communications, etc.)
- Must have at least 5 members to be a recognized club. (Can include leadership.)
- Must have a defined purpose and meet regularly
- Must report weekly to the Club Coordinator on activities, meetings and accomplishments
- Must renew their application prior the start of a new semester
