Friendly Sanctioning

The closed season is between 1st June and 30th June each calendar year.

Sheffield & Hallamshire affiliated grassroots clubs are able to play the following fixtures during the close season without seeking approval from SHCFA;

Small Sided Friendlies (3v3, 4v4, 5v5, 6v6, 7v7, 8v8, 9v9)
Sanctioned Tournaments/Galas

11v11 Friendlies

11v11 friendlies during the close season can be played by Sheffield & Hallamshire affiliated clubs - subject to approval from Sheffield & Hallamshire County FA.

All 11v11 friendly fixtures during must be approved, via this form.

Failure to comply, may lead to a CFA disciplinary investigation which may result in and charges.

Outside of the closed season clubs are free to play friendlies without seeking approval from SHCFA, subject to being affiliated.
