"Fostering Reentry Success: Advancing Second Chances in Ohio"

Prison Fellowship invites you to an in-person lunch hour briefing

hosted in partnership with The Buckeye Institute.

More than one in three adults in the U.S. have a criminal record. These individuals face over 44,000 government-imposed barriers to work, housing, and education that limit their efforts to become responsible stewards of their families and communities. How can our society better unlock second chances for Ohioans with a criminal record? What can the church, businesses, and policymakers do to reduce cycles of recidivism, addiction, and unemployment among individuals leaving Ohio’s prisons and jails?

The discussion will be lead by David Jimenez (Sr. Manager of Government Affairs at Prison Fellowship) including Robert Alt (President and CEO of The Buckeye Institute) and a panel of guests with expert and lived experience as we discuss the importance of fostering a culture that promotes second chances.
