Small Business Advisory Commission Interest Form
The Small Business Advisory Commission is charged with assessing the impact of and delivering recommendations on new and existing policies, laws, and regulations, and delivering recommendations to improve the experience of small businesses operating in New York City. The Commission is chaired by the Department of Small Business Services Commissioner and includes more than 30 members.
The Small Business Advisory Commission has representation from small business owners and members of the administration and organizations that support small businesses.
Commitment:
- Members are expected to meet at least six times yearly for a maximum of two hours per meeting.
- Available to review materials and attend events outside the designated meetings.
Note: Currently, the Commission is at capacity. However, we welcome business owners and community-based organizations to join the waitlist. If a Commission seat becomes available, we will consider new members.
