Youth Pickleball Academy Application

Join our exciting After-School Youth Pickleball Program, designed for kids in 1st through 5th grade to learn, play, and enhance their pickleball skills in a fun and supportive environment! Whether your child is a beginner eager to try a new sport or an experienced player looking to level up, this program has something for everyone.


PLEASE NOTE: ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST BE A JCCOC MEMBER IN ORDER TO BE ELIGABLE TO PARTICIPATE

What to Expect:

  • Expert Instruction: Our experienced coaches provide personalized guidance on pickleball fundamentals, including serves, volleys, dinks, footwork, and court positioning, tailored to each participant’s skill level.
  • Skill-Building Drills: Enjoy interactive drills that enhance coordination, agility, and teamwork in an engaging and supportive setting.
  • Friendly Matches: Put your skills into action during structured games with peers, emphasizing sportsmanship, strategy, and fun.
  • Team Challenges: Take part in exciting team activities designed to foster camaraderie, confidence, and a love for the game.


Program Details

  • Who: Open to 1st–5th graders of all skill levels
  • When: Starts Monday, February 3, 2025
  • Schedule:
  • 1st–3rd Grade:
  • Mondays: 3:30–4:30 PM
  • Wednesdays: 2:00–3:00 PM
  • 4th–5th Grade:
  • Tuesdays: 3:30–4:30 PM
  • Wednesdays: 3:30 PM–4:30 PM
  • Class Size: Limited to 6 participants per class
  • Where: JCC OC outdoor pickleball courts
  • Equipment: Paddles and balls provided (participants may bring their own if preferred)
  • Cost:
  • $120/month for one class per week
  • $200/month for two classes per week
