APRU SCL Student Travel Award

APRU (Association of Pacific Rim Universities) Sustainable Cities and Landscapes program at the UO is excited to announce their annual APRU SCL Student Travel Award. This student travel award will support UO undergraduate and graduate students to participate in the 2025 APRU Sustainable Cities and Landscapes Conference in Vancouver, BC. This year's conference theme is Living with Water.

The conference will include working group time focused on specific issues, a variety of guest speakers, and field visits around Vancouver.

There will be a Student Symposium incorporated into the conference program to allow young researchers to experience and be exposed to the valuable conversations of the APRU-SCL network. Students will give an oral presentation of their work and receive feedback from faculty in related fields. This symposium is open to students of all levels.

Selected students will receive $1,000 to $1,500 to help cover their travel expenses. The full conference website can be found here.

Application due date: February 15, 2025

Conference dates: June 17-19
