Date

When do you want to have your field trip? Choose your first choice, and a backup.

What dates are available?

All of our available dates are in the drop-down lists below! I update these at least once a day. When you see "tentatively booked" for a date, that means that it has been offered to a teacher, but they have not accepted it yet. It may or may not be available.

Is your group larger than 35 students?

If you have a group larger than 35, we may need to schedule 2 different days or times, depending on staff availability. Or we will need to do rotations and teach half of the students at once. Choose a site with a playground nearby, like Sellwood Park, Gabriel Park, Westmoreland Park, or Mt. Tabor!

Unless otherwise noted, we can teach:

up to 35 pre-k through 3rd graders at a time,

or up to 40 4th grade through high school students at at time.

IF AVAILABLE, are you are interested in adding a stewardship component to your field trip? Examples include pulling ivy, planting plants, and improving trails.

All programs take place in a Portland park or natural area, or your schoolyard. If you aren't sure what to choose, pick "I'm not sure" and we will help you decide.

The most popular natural areas for field trips are Mt. Tabor Park, Kelley Point Park, Oaks Bottom Wildlife Refuge, Powell Butte Nature Park, Leach Botanical Garden, Gabriel Park, and Marshall Park.

Are there any people with cognitive disabilities? What accommodations do they need?
