You are invited to join us for the 2022 Rural Advocacy Days on September 19th – 21st in Washington, D.C.

Hospital leaders and board members have an excellent opportunity to connect with members of Congress during WSHA’s Rural Advocacy Days in Washington D.C. The event provides access to your congressional delegation to help establish relationships and effectively advocate for the issues impacting rural hospitals. This trip also provides an opportunity to network among your colleagues from all parts of the state. We will focus on key issues such as hospital finances, telehealth and 340B. WSHA encourages you and members of your board or management team to join us this year!

We kick off the event on Monday, September 19 with a group dinner hosted by WSHA. On Tuesday, WSHA provides a briefing in partnership with the American Hospital Association to bring you up to speed on the federal issues facing rural hospitals. We will schedule visits with your Senators and Representatives for the afternoon on Tuesday and then come back together as a group to enjoy another social outing that evening. Wednesday will consist of more Congressional appointments. We recommend that you fly home Wednesday evening.
