Ginsberg Undergraduate Research Grant Application

Ted and Cora Ginsberg grants support undergraduate research conducted in collaboration with a Political Science faculty member. Full details regarding eligibility for this grant are available on our website.


At the bottom of this application, please attach the following

(honors students do not need to include these attachments):


  • resume
  • unofficial transcript
  • 2 to 3 page description of the project that outlines the research topic; the proposed research methodology (e.g. analysis of secondary literature, archival visits, field research, experimental research, etc); and a description of your background preparation for the research including how you expect the research to further your own intellectual development.
  • a budget describing your anticipated expenses If you are an honors student who is submitting receipts for reimbursement for expenses incurred on your honors thesis research, please submit all receipts within 30 days at the bottom of this questionnaire.

Students not in the honors program are required to include resume, transcript, and project description. You may attach as three separate files. If you are an honors student requesting reimbursement for expenses incurred on your honors thesis research, please attach receipts here within 30 days of the date on the receipt. If the receipt does not show your name, last 4 digits of the credit/debit card number and type of card (mastercard, visa, etc) you will need to provide a screen shot of the bank/credit card statement with the relevant charge.
