Indie creators, authors from small press or hybrid publishers, and self-published authors can sell and sign books directly to readers under the Indie Author Alley tent in Topiary Park.

INDIE AUTHOR ALLEY GUIDELINES


•    Exhibit tables are reserved for authors from small press, indie creators and self-published authors.

•    Participation during both festival days is required.

•    Seller must be the author or co‐author/creator of all titles sold.

•    Vendors will bring and set up their own supplies (books, payment system, display items).

•    Payment and a completed exhibitor contract are required to guarantee space.


Reminder: Indie Author vendor tables will be lined under one large pavilion in Topiary Park. If you're an author in need of larger exhibit space, please visit the Marketplace Exhibitor form and reserve an individual 10x10 tent.


SELECTION PROCESS


Columbus Book Festival is committed to celebrating a broad range of cultures and ideas.


Should there be more Indie Author Alley requests than space allows, a selection committee will review applications and select a mix of vendors that provide a wide range content for festival attendees.


TIMELINE

Now – Jan. 15    Applications for table space accepted.

Feb.- April 2024    Confirmations and contracts sent. Payment due upon selection.

May – July 2024    Waitlist vendors contacted if space becomes available

Our goal is to create a book festival to delight our diverse community of readers and meet their wide variety of reading tastes.

Vendor Space

Let us know how much space you'd like to exhibit and sell your work. We will try to fit in as many authors as possible in the space available, while incorporating a broad selection of genres for shoppers.


Payment will be due with contract confirmation, sent separately after application review and selection. Rental fee is for two days at the book festival.


Reminder: Indie author vendor tables will be lined under one large pavilion in Topiary Park. If you're interested in an individual 10'x10' tent, please apply for a Marketplace Exhibitor booth, not Indie Author Alley table space.

Do not request a half table if you plan to have more than one person working your table for the duration of the event. Three feet is not enough space for two people plus your shared table partner.
