Initial Questions to Determine OE Wizard Eligibility

This self-service tool lets you update your benefit plans and control critical timelines for most benefit plan types.

Congratulations! You are eligible for the OE Wizard based on the information you provided.

You indicated you only have FSA and/or HSA plans that will be included in the upcoming Open Enrollment. Based on that information, you are eligible to utilize the OE Wizard.

Please ensure the OE Success Checklist is reviewed and completed. This checklist will help you to ensure all necessary items are completed before Open Enrollment launches to ensure a smooth process.


Medical Plan Tier Structure Changes - Medical Plans that are changing tier structure. (i.e. change from age-banded or community based rates to a tier-based structure or vice versa).


Age-Banded Medical Plans - Medical Plans where rate is determined by the employee's age.


Wellness Banded Plans - Plans where a wellness factor, applied to the employee profile, determines the cost of the plan for that employee.


Benefit Class Changes - This would include changing Benefit Classes for individual employees or if we are adding/removing Benefit Classes.


Surcharge Changes - Adding, removing or changing any surcharges. This can include tobacco surcharge, spousal surcharge, wellness credits, etc.


Acquisitions - Acquisitions will be occurring during the Open Enrollment timeframe.


Ask Emma - Currently utilizing Ask Emma and need information updated.


Plan Questions - Changes are being made to the plan or eligibility questions. Example: Tobacco Surcharge or spousal surcharge.


Defined Contributions - Administrators will determine how much money to contribute toward the cost of employees' benefits and how those contributions will be distributed between benefit plan types.

Please watch for the Welcome email scheduled to be sent 110 days before your renewal date. This email will contain further details about OE expectations.


The aligned OE Consultant will decide on the final eligibility for the OE Wizard tool.

Based on the information you provided you are NOT eligible for the OE Wizard.

Paycor requires that paperwork be submitted three weeks in advance of your Open Enrollment Launch Date, not counting Paycor holidays and weekends.


The necessary documents will be part of the Open Enrollment Welcome email, which you'll receive 110 days before your renewal date. This timeframe encompasses 10 business days allocated for setup and an additional 5 business days for testing.


It's important to consult the OE Project Timeline to know when documents are due.
