Letters of Recommendation

First letter

  • One letter of recommendation must be from the applicants' proposed CSU faculty mentor. A request will be sent using the information provided in the CSU mentor section.


Second letter

  • Currently enrolled doctoral students must have a second letter of recommendation from a doctoral advisor.
  • Individuals applying to doctoral programs are encouraged to request a second letter of recommendation from someone who is familiar with their academic work, research interests, and potential for success in the discipline
