Behavioral Health Services Provider Workforce Trainings Input Form

Please use this form to convey any staff training needs for your program through June 30, 2023. This information will be used to determine which trainings are an identified need by BHS contracted providers during the remainder of FY 22/23.


If you do not indicate a training need for staff using this form, it is noted that your agency has determined that no training need exists i.e. due to staff’s completion of required trainings, or that your agency is capable of meeting that need through independent means through the end of the current fiscal year.

Types of Training(s) Needed Through June 2023

Based upon current staffing and anticipated hiring, check the box for each training needed by your program staff.


For each training you select, you will be prompted to provide the number of staff that needs the training. Please reflect true expected need, without overestimating.

Motivational Interviewing (MI)

Provides an introductory overview of Motivational Interviewing. Participants will practice their ability to apply core skills to assist individuals with making positive changes in integrated behavioral health settings.

Intermediate workshop is highly experiential and designed for individuals who have taken the Introduction to MI workshop and are using MI in their practice.

Trainees familiarize themselves with Pathways to Well-Being and Continuum of Care Reform concepts and practice

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) Series

Provides an overview of the core DBT principles that improve clients’ safety and their emotional and behavioral control. Daily emphasis is placed on understanding and practicing a DBT specific clinical approach and the skills within the Mindfulness, Interpersonal Effectiveness, Emotion Regulation, and Distress Tolerance modules.

Provides an overview of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which emphasizes the relationship between beliefs, thoughts, feelings and behaviors that follow. The Series includes a 2-day skill training, a 4-hour case conference, and 1-hour group consultation
