Comprehensive Exam Approval Form
This form officially documents the passage or failure of each element of the Doctoral Comprehensive Exam.
Students are responsible for initiating this form immediately after completing the oral presentation portion of their exam. Upon submission, a copy of this form will be sent to each member of the student's committee for their approval.
If all elements of the exam are successfully completed the program co-directors will enter a grade of P (pass) for COMPUT 619.
If a student does not successfully complete all elements (or requests an extension) of the exam they must:
If a re-take or extension request is approved the student will receive a grade of I (Incomplete) in COMPUT 691.
Indicate if each of the exam elements have been passed, or previously satisfied by a masters thesis.
Students: Your advisor is responsible for telling you if you have not passed any elements of the exam, if you aren't sure please ask before completing this form!
Please put today's date if you have not done your presentation yet.
Courses being taken concurrently must be passed with a grade of B or better. The program will confirm your grades before entering a grade for COMPUT 691.
