Post Requirements

University Marketing has guidelines that each post must meet before it is posted to our social media channels. We also take the social media platform audience into consideration when making every post. Below are the types of posts that are published on each platform.

  • To be published to FACEBOOK: major accomplishments and events, donations, student success stories.
  • To be published on X (Formally Twitter): major accomplishments, events, donations, and student success stories. X will serve as the main channel for news releases from the department of University Communications.
  • To be published to LINKEDIN: major accomplishments and events, donations, student success stories. Professional development stories/resources.
  • To be published to INSTAGRAM: Student-based content, events, images, promotions, spotlights.
