When program mentors are available, our teachers and/or Success Coaches work closely with them to support student engagement and success. For the best chances of student success, we recommend each student check in regularly with a program mentor to go over their progress.

What is your Academic Integrity Policy?

Edgenuity Instructional Services Policy: • First offense: Warning, teaching about plagiarism, ability to redo assignment • Second Offense: Alert student mentor or parents, allow redo if student submits understanding of plagiarism • Third Offense- No chance to redo, possible further disciplinary action.

What is your completion/passing threshold?

Our standard completion percentage is 80%.In standard classrooms, teachers often do not get through entire textbooks. Since our courses are set up similarly to textbooks, the 80% complete standard takes this into account. Actual Grade: The student’s current grade in the course. Points will be subtracted for falling behind in their pace.

Pretesting: Pretesting is normally used for Credit Recovery to test out of lessons and move forward from what the students have already learned. *NCAA students cannot use pretesting

Prescriptive Testing: Prescriptive testing works by generating an assessment that the student takes at the very beginning of the course. As such, it can only be enabled before the student has started the course. This assessment is generated automatically, selecting one question from each lesson in the course. If the student answers a question correctly, the corresponding lesson is automatically customized out of the course. If a student has already started a course, prescriptive testing is no longer an option *NCAA students cannot use prescriptive testing

Instructional Services Professional Development

Do you require Professional Development for any or all of the groups below? If so please provide a minimum of three tentative dates and times available

Which of groups will be in attendance? Note these groups are linked to the access roles in our system

Program Admins or Program Leads Program Admins/Leads will have the ability to review all students and program data for the district/respective school to which they are assigned. They will also have the ability to approve/auto-enroll course requests, edit student profiles, add students to mentors, and manage student enrollments. Counselors Counselors have the permission to Auto-Enroll student course requests. They can also be directly associated to student accounts where they can see only their associations. Mentors Mentors are intended to be the main connection between Edgenuity instructors and your students. Mentors can be associated directly with student accounts and will be the primary contact for any escalation items regarding their students. Mentors can be granted different level of access to be able to modify Enrollment Dates.
