Oak Harbor Community Garden Survey
We are looking at opportunities to develop urban agriculture projects in Oak Harbor, and seeking public input and leadership before applying for funding from federal and state agencies for support. Our Stakeholder Coalition includes Island County Public Health, Whidbey Island Conservation District, WSU Extension SNAP Ed, and Opportunity Council.
Projects could include:
School gardens
Public community gardens open to all
Community gardens with individually assigned garden plots
Gardens or farms for groups such as public housing, seniors, churches
Classes on starting your own garden
