SB27 BPI Data Exemption Form

Under California Government Code section 10510.50, et seq, vendors providing certain services to the University of California are required to submit “Basic Payroll Information (BPI),” as that term is defined in Government Code section 10510.51(b) to both UC and the Joint Labor-Management Committee (JLMC). This requirement is outlined in Government Code section 10510.52(b)(1) and mandates that vendors provide BPI twice a year, in January and July, to ensure transparency and compliance with labor standards.

If a vendor believes that Government Code section 10510.50, et seq., and its obligations do not apply to them they must complete this form and provide a detailed explanation as to why the statute is not applicable.
