CDPA Low-Cost Spay or Neuter Request Form

This initiative is designed to assist those with financial constraints. If you can afford to pay for this operation in full yourself, please leave the voucher for a family who need it.


Depending on location, the cost will be


Between €30-45 for a male cat 

Between €45–€60 for a female cat 


Please note that cats must weigh at least 2kg to be spayed or neutered.


Terms and Conditions

Cats can only be spayed or neutered at our charity vet following written approval from CDPA

Prepayment is required.


This initiative covers the spay/neuter operation and related medication only.

Any additional services (e.g. microchip, vaccination, wormer etc) required will need to paid directly at the vet.


Note that some vets charge extra for a cone in which case applicants will need to cover the cost themselves on the day of the surgery. Costs range from €10-15 per cone.


Our vets are located in counties across the Republic of Ireland.


Your email address will not be used for any other purpose outside of this campaign. We may contact you after the promotion with a follow-up survey asking about your experience.

Securely transporting your cat to the charity vet

It will be your responsibility to bring the cat to the charity vet in a secure cat carrier.

If you do not own a secure cat carrier please ensure you borrow or purchase one ahead of the appointment.

If you do not drive we recommend asking a friend to give you a lift. If this is an obstacle for you please let us know.


Payment

Payment will need to be made to CDPA in advance of the vet appointment. Further details will be shared once your application has been processed.
