For Customs purposes you must include an invoice showing a value of £1.00 (or equivalent) with the description "Goods Returned for Disposal." The Tariff No. should be HSN 9027 5000 (refractometers and polarimeters) and the Country of Origin as shown on the instrument serial number label or in the User Guide.
