EAGLE CADDIE PROGRAM - 2025 STUDENT APPLICATION

This program provides employment for three summers at Portland Parks & Recreation golf courses and interfacing with members of the public. After the completion of the three-year program, students can become eligible to apply for the Evans Scholarship, a full tuition and housing scholarship to the University of Oregon.

This application requires several attachments (see below) It will be helpful to have your attachments ready at the time you complete this form.

Applicants are expected to review and be in compliance with the EAGLE Caddie Program eligibility requirements. To see the requirements, go to portland.gov/parks/sports/eagle.

To Apply

Please complete this form and include all of the following academic information and letters of recommendation.

1. Letter of Recommendation #1 for the EAGLE Caddie Program and Evans Scholarship, a financial need-based scholarship (can be from a school counselor or teacher)
2. Letter of Recommendation #2 for the EAGLE Caddie Program and Evans Scholarship, a financial need-based scholarship (can be from a school counselor or teacher)
3. Student's report card from the first semester of the 2024-2025 school year.
4. Essay #1 - Background Essay (Provide 250-400 words that describe yourself.)
5. Essay #2 - Consideration for EAGLE Caddie Program (Provide 250-400 words that highlight why you should be considered for the EAGLE Caddie Program.)
6. Parent/Guardian Acknowledgement Form
