At SBCAS, we are responsible for the humane care of every animal in our custody, with a mandated priority of providing shelter space for stray animals. Our animal numbers are steadily increasing; it is of the upmost importance that we keep our population within a range that we can provide the best care for.

As always we will still take in animals for surrender in cases of emergency, please call the shelter directly 805.934.6119 X7 for North County and 805.681.5285 for South County.
