U.S. Department of Education/MSEIP Internship


This application is for students applying for a summer internship through the U.S Department of Education/MSEIP program.

All required documents must be uploaded with the application for review and consideration. Incomplete packages will not be reviewed.

1.    Updated resume including related courses/skills as mentioned in internship project descriptions and any additional experiences that qualify you for this research internship and official or unofficial transcripts.

2.    A personal statement which includes the following:

a)    Description of your interests, career goals, coursework, and experiences that qualify you for this program

b)    Identification of the* project(s) of interest (number and name)

c)    Contact information for one university reference (e.g., name, title, organization, email address, phone number)

*Students may select more than one project of interest.

The summer program will be on site at the Information Directorate in Rome, New York (AFRL Rome) June 6th - August 12th. At this time it is planned on being in person for 8 weeks June 13th - August 5th. The first and final week will be done remotely from your home/school.

1. You must meet security clearance eligibility guidelines (US citizenship required).

2. You must be accepted to or in attendance at a College or University during the internship period.
