Five-Year Plan:

Sub-Population and Systems Focused Sessions

What is the Five-Year Plan?

This is our strategic roadmap to transform the homelessness response system. It is legislatively required per our founding interlocal agreement and we are building upon previous planning efforts, tying in the past year of community engagement with system partners, providers, those with lived experience, and community based organizations. The Plan must be approved by our Governing Committee and we expect them to vote on it in December.

Why are we bringing folks together?

At this stage in the process, we have some proposed objectives and initiatives focused on specific sub-populations and systems that are built on community learnings and are actions that we believe KCRHA has the ability to act upon in the next five years.

As leaders who support your communities, we are coming to you to vet our recommendations. We want to hear your feedback and are looking for your guidance on what changes should be made. We are hoping the proposed objectives and initiatives are a starting place for our conversation.
