The City of Lone Tree is committed to complying with Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act. In accordance with Title II of the ADA, the City strives to make sure that people with disabilities have equal access to civic life. This means that we are obligated by law and committed to providing people with disabilities effective opportunities to participate in or benefit from the City's benefits, services, programs as well as access to City facilities and City right of ways. If you have a Title II complaint or concern please fill out this form. It is important to note that the City does not have the authority to enforce Title III of the ADA which governs equal access to privately owned places of public accommodation ( i.e. restaurants, private housing, office building etc.) If you have a complaint concerning Title III follow the instructions below. If you feel you or another person have been discriminated against by an entity covered by title III, send a letter to the Department of Justice, at the address below, including the following information: - Your full name, address, and telephone number, and the name of the party discriminated against; - The name of the business, organization, or institution that you believe has discriminated; - A description of the act or acts of discrimination, the date or dates of the discriminatory acts, and the name or names of the individuals who you believe discriminated; and - Other information that you believe necessary to support your complaint. This is a Title II complaint or issue. Title II: concerning access to City facilities, programs, rights of way or services. If this is a Title III issue please see the instructions above to submit your concern to the Department of Justice. Title III: concerning privately owned public accommodations (i.e. private housing, restaurants, office buildings)
