Calling for the next great artists of our generation - ALC is showcasing up-and-coming artists from around the world to come together on the ALC Exhibit Hall Spotlight Stage. The platform for emerging artists will highlight various genres of music, comedians, the spoken word, dance groups, and so much more…..



EVENT LOCATION

  • Walter E Washington Convention Center - Exhibit Hall D
  • 801 Mount Vernon Place, NW Washington, DC 20001


PERFORMANCE TIME

  • Performance Time • The length of the total performance must not exceed 15 minutes • (Do not include entry, set-up, and exit • There will be an official timekeeper).


SOUND CHECK

  • Unfortunately, due to time constraints, sound checks will not be available.


COMPENSATION and EXPENSES

  • TALENT is responsible for all expenses, including but not limited to: Travel, food, lodging & event parking.


CONFIRMATION and ORDER OF APPEARANCE

  • Group / Artist will be notified before or by Friday, August 29, 2025

In consideration of acceptance of participation, the TALENT agrees to this waiver of liability and assumption of risk. I, the official representative, assign and do hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue sponsors, hosts, or facility or their respective employees (collectively “Releases”) from all liability, loss, claims, demands, possible cause of action, court costs, settlement costs and fees, attorney fees and any other expenses arising from any claim or lawsuit that may arise from any loss, damage or injury (including death) to any member of/or affiliated with the choir members and/or property resulting from or arising in connection with, or related to my/our participation. I/we understand NO additional guarantees or promises, by affiliates of this event have been made or any entity involved with this event has occurred or will occur. The Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, Inc. reserves the exclusive rights to video record and re-distribute the entire event without considerations to any participants.
