Youth Partnership Council
Recruiting New Members
We are looking for new members between the ages of 13-18 years old to join the SHA's Provincial Youth Partnership Council. Members of the Youth Partnership Council are young people who have been a patient or family/support person in health care in Saskatchewan.
The purpose of the Youth Partnership Council is: working together to improve health care for the benefit of other youth and their families
Members are required to attend an orientation and then about 6 meetings per year. Meetings in Spring and Fall are in person at Jim Pattison Children's Hospital. Winter meetings are online. Travel expenses are covered for in person meetings if you live outside of Saskatoon. All members are paid an honorarium for attending meetings.
If you are interested in becoming a part of the Youth Partnership Council, please help us get to know you a bit more by completing the following questions. We will reach out to you to follow up from there.
Please note: We are recruiting approximately 10 NEW members so we will not have a spot for every applicant at this time. We are working towards recruiting a group that represents diverse locations and experiences.
We will respond to your interest and let you know next steps in late summer.
Thank you for your interest!
