Award: Up to $2,500



The Patrick Riordan Memorial Research Award in Florida Studies is meant to fund a student in residence who can visit the collections to conduct extensive research over the course of a semester.


Criteria:

  • Annually awarded to full or part-time USF graduate student working towards a M.A. or Ph.D.
  • Can be on any USF campus
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Must submit an essay about the nature of your study and how the specific resources in the USF Libraries Florida Studies collections are crucial to your research interests


Important Note:

Winners will be awarded up to $2,500 to support research in the USF Libraries' Florida Studies collections. Please submit a brief, but specific, proposal illustrating how you would use the USF Libraries Special Collections in your research.
