Application Form/Needs Assessment

The IEEE Women in Photonics initiative has launched a new professional development program, called "Reignite: Back to Career/Research". We are committed to increasing the diversity of representation in the photonics and optics community. We want to support members who represent a broad range of experiences, backgrounds, identities, abilities in the field.

This program has been designed to assist women and gender minorities who have:

left the photonics field due to life circumstances;
a break from the workforce or academic research;
a shift in career focus;
are in need of mentorship, professional development and leadership training.

If the above applies and you are in need of assistance, please complete the needs assessment below. The IEEE Photonics Society would be happy to assist as you navigate your career or transitions in the field.
