General Donor Requirements

CANINE

• 1 - 6 years of age (retire at 8yo); Giant breeds: 1 - 5 years of age (retire at 6yo)
• Healthy weight of >50 lbs. (22.7kg)
• Current on required vaccines
• On Year-Round heartworm, flea / tick preventive
• Friendly disposition
• Good health as determined by family veterinarian
• Has not received a blood transfusion

FELINE

• 1- 7 years of age (retire at 10yo)
• Healthy weight of >10 lbs. (4.5kg)
• Housed indoors
• Current on required vaccines
• On Year-Round heartworm, flea / tick preventive
• Friendly disposition
• Good health as determined by family veterinarian
• Has not received a blood transfusion
