Distinguished Alumni Award - In order to be considered for this award, nominees should meet the following criteria: Benefits the profession of nursing across New Mexico, nationally or internationally. Demonstrates a passionate commitment to nursing education research and/or practice. Exceptional mentor to students and/or fellow nurses. Gives back to the community. To qualify for this award, nominees shall hold a BSN, MSN, DNP and/or PhD from UNM College of Nursing and not already have received the award.

New Alumni Award - In order to be considered for this award, nominees should meet the following criteria: Demonstrates Leadership Capabilities. Ability to grow/excel in nursing education, research and/or practice. Gives back to their community. To qualify for this award, nominees shall hold a BSN, MSN, DNP and/or PhD from UNM College of Nursing, have graduated within the past 10 years and not already have received the award.
