External Reservation Request for the CTL Learning Lounge
(ILC 315)
The CTL's newly designated Learning Lounge (ILC 315) was remodeled in the summer of 2024. It provides presentation technology comparable to GA classrooms and seats about 30 people comfortably.
The room is intended as a gathering space for the professional and pedagogical development of educators and faculty. The room can be requested for external use if the subject of the meeting aligns with the CTL's mission of the professional and pedagogical development of educators or for interviews of faculty candidates involving CTL staff.
Please note:
- CTL events take priority to external requests
- Recurring meetings are limited to one semester
- The room is not available during summer semester or during Thanksgiving, winter, or spring breaks.
If you would like to request this space, please check the room calendar for availability and fill out the form below. Requests will be reviewed to ensure they comply with the CTL commitment to the education of educators. You will be notified if your request is approved or denied.
Some examples of meeting requests that will be denied are as follows:
- Department meetings, retreats, or events unrelated to pedagogy (administrative meetings, planning meetings, budget meetings, etc.)
- Meetings pertaining to student advising, student activity groups, and student clubs
The ILC offers plenty of GA classrooms available for such meetings that can be reserved through the classroom reservation request form.
