Creating or amending a Orderwise Variant Checklist
Product codes should be prefixed PR-
Try and follow a logical pattern for new variant codes. If it's a cutting tool item then use 4 digits as the sufix, if it's a generic item, use 01, 02, 03 etc.
Required for items that are to be stocked. Log into GS1, select use next number - add Orderwise part number - To be completed....
Leave blank if printed/kit item
Leave blank if it's a kitted/non sale item.If it's a sale item, typically the RSP should be cost x 3
If it possible will be a future catalog item, tick the box i.e. V10, so this can be reviewed closer to the time.
Confirm that you aren't adding the variant against an incorrect product code.
If yes then ensure you mark this as a Manufactured/Kitted item - this will then need a BOM revision and the component parts adding within Manufactured Variants
Add only to Bridge House as the default unless there is a specific reason to add to other locations (i.e. a Sheffield manufacturing item)
