IEEE CTSoc Corporate Innovation & Leadership Award
IEEE Consumer Technology Society (CTSoc)
The IEEE CTSoc Corporate Innovation & Leadership Award was established in 2019. This award recognizes an organization that has demonstrated outstanding innovation and leadership in Consumer technology. The organization had also contributed to the IEEE Consumer Technology Society’s (CTSoc) service to the public and members.
The recipient must be a corporate, governmental, or academic entity working within the fields of interest to the IEEE Consumer Technology Society. Any person, including an employee of a particular entity may nominate their organization for this Award. The organization had also contributed to the IEEE Consumer Technology Society’s (CTSoc) service to the public and members. The Eligibility and Selection process shall comply with procedures and regulation established in the IEEE and Society/Council governing documents, particularly with IEEE Policy 4.4 on Awards Limitations. Ineligible: Members of either the IEEE CTSoc Awards Committee, IEEE CTSoc Officers, or IEEE CTSoc Board of Governors are not eligible to be either nominators or endorsers of a nominee, or to be nominated for this Award. Self-nominations for this award is not permitted and will not be accepted.
Only one qualified recipient may be selected annually. Recipient receives the full prize of a recognition plaque.
Nominations will be evaluated and scored fairly by the IEEE CTSoc Awards Committee. The award will not be conferred in any given year if a suitable candidate is not identified.

The award will be presented at one of the IEEE Consumer Technology Society's annual conference or venue appropriate to the business area of the recipient.
The award will be published in the Consumer Technology Society Magazine, CTSoc World, and website.

Identify the accomplishments that the organization contributed and excelled inengineering, science, research and development in the field of consumer technologies. (Maximum 400 words).
Describe the new innovation and leadership in the consumer technologies thathas led the organization to a new product, system, or service used by industry, business, and consumers.(Maximum 500 words).
Describe how the innovation and leadership were achieved, and how the challenges were overcome. (Maximum 500 words)
Describe the significant impact of the innovation and leadership on products, industry, business, and consumers? How has it advanced the state of the art in the fields of interest to IEEE Consumer Technology Society? (Maximum 500 words)
Provide any addition al information that may strengthen the nomination (e.g. patents, invention, public trials, product, system or service. deployments, etc.).(Maximum 500 words).
Describe the Organization’s contribution, cooperation and/or participation to support technical activities, standards, publications, and conferences of IEEE Consumer Technology Society.(Maximum 400 words).

A minimum of two (2) and maximum of three (3) endorsement letters are required and must be submitted by the endorsers and send to ieeectsoc-awards@ieee.org . The nominator cannot be an endorser. It is recommended that the nominator contact the endorsers directly prior to finalizing the nomination form to confirm their willingness to participate and to explain the candidate(s) achievements as it relates to the scope of the award. The endorser will automatically receive a message with a link to write or upload a letter once the contact information is inputted by the nominator. Nominators may log into the OpenWater???? homepage to check the status of letters received and send reminder emails to endorsers as needed.
