Example: Review of APA's Koppitz Child Psychology Graduate Student Fellowship

This fellowship program supports graduate research projects and scholarships in child psychology. APA Child Psychology Graduate Student Fellowship Goals: 1) nurture excellent young scholars for careers in areas of psychology, such as child-clinical, pediatric, school, educational and developmental psychopathology; and 2) support scholarly work contributing to the advancement of knowledge in these areas. Please assess the proposal's alignment with the program goals.


Scoring Scale

1 = Excellent (near perfect)

2 = Very Good (only a few minor problems)

3 = Good (Solid answer)

4 = Satisfactory (some clear weaknesses)

5 = Poor (significant weaknesses)

 

Rate the proposal's "magnitude of incremental contribution" to the field. Consider its goals and anticipated outcomes, significance, and impact.
