Milk Crate Kitchen (MCK) Family Meal Interest List

Your input is a way to inform MCK about individuals who tried to sign up for one of our prepared meals after our list has closed or reached max capacity.


Announcements:

  1. We recently changed when we post the week's Family Meal menu to Wednesday between 9:30am and 10am, twice a month.
  2. You will always find the latest information on our website (link below) and on MCK's social media accounts: Instagram and Facebook.
  3. You can request 2x every 30-day rolling period
  4. Our address for meal pickups: Rose City Park Presbyterian Church, 1907 NE 45th Ave, Portland 97213.
  5. Since Feb 13, 2024: We have delivery service boundaries. Click here to see the map of where we deliver. Majority of Multnomah County plus NW Clackamas areas. If your delivery request falls outside these areas, your submission will automatically be cancelled. You are welcome to request a meal but please choose an in-person pickup.


THE PURPOSE OF ADDING YOUR INFORMATION HERE ON MCK'S INTEREST LIST (NOT A WAITLIST):


  1. To let us know that you are interested in a family meal at no cost to you, home-delivered or for pick-up.
  2. This is a way of informing us that you tried to get on this week's meal list but missed it. We know that there are many possible reasons why that can happen, and we are aware that the demand for accessible and affordable prepared healthy meals exceeds our current maximum of serving 80 households a service week.
  3. If you have tried to get on multiple times but have not been able to, we would like to know.
  4. If you are requesting for the first time, we would like to know.
  5. This is not a wait list but can be used to re-allocate in cases that MCK have extra meals due to missed pick-ups, etcetera.

Our kitchen is currently located at the parking lot on the corner of NE 44th Ave and NE Sandy Blvd. We will have a sandwich board sign that reads Milk Crate Kitchen outside of the Rose City Park Presbyterian Church, address 1907 NE 45th Ave, Portland, OR 97213. Keep in mind that to find us, go to the RCPPC parking lot. The pick-up window is on a Saturday between 10-11am in the morning.
